Renew Recycling handles all types of commercial and industrial ferrous and non-ferrous metals. We also process various types of scrap metals. We accept a wide variety of metals from household and commercial customers. Whether you have strands of burnt-out Christmas lights, leftover building materials, or old appliances, we can recycle them all. The best part is we will pay you fairly. Local Ordinances:
Tennessee
- Copper: 5-day hold and always check, never cash.
- HVAC: Must have specific licenses to sell
- Convertors: Special requirements, “lots of them”
- Cars: Require title, 2010 to Present Date
North Carolina
- All purchases require a valid, non-expired U.S. issued I.D.
- Copper: Always paid by check, no cash. If you bring in other items with your copper, you be paid by check for everything.
- HVAC: Need a special license, a receipt for the purchase of a new HVAC unit, be a licensed HVAC company, or have an approval form from the local sheriff’s office.
- Catalytic Converters: Not purchased at Clayton location.
- Cars: Require title if 2010 to Present Date
- Cardboard: Not purchased at Clayton location.
- Plastic: Not purchased at Clayton location.
Florida and Alabama
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have valid state ID or passport
- Must have valid vehicle registration/tag
- State Regulated Materials- paid in form of check and mailed to address on file (unless you have business license in that field)
- HVAC: receipt for replacement or business license in HVAC industry (not needed for window units)
- Autos: 10 years or newer must have title. Older than 10 years derelict form.
- Converters: need receipt for replacement or business license in auto industry
- Batteries: 2 per customer per day
- No open alcohol or illegal drugs on property
- No railroad items, funeral marker or vase, street signs, utility grade items, historical marker, guard rails or backflow preventers without proper paperwork
- No burnt wire without letter from fire department
